Authentication

Send your key as a bearer token. Keys are shown once when created, stored only as a hash, and can be revoked at any time. Never put a key in browser code.

Generate

One call is one generation request (normally up to 2 alternatives). It costs 10 credits on chirp-v6-mini and 12 on premium models, charged before submission and refunded if the request fails. Scope: music:generate.

Job status

Poll every 5–10 seconds. Scope: music:read.

Track download

Returns metadata and a signed MP3 link that expires in 10 minutes.

Errors & limits

• 401 invalid_api_key — missing, unknown or revoked key
• 403 insufficient_scope — key lacks the required scope
• 402 — not enough credits or model not included
• 429 rate_limited — 10 calls per minute per key; 3 generations per minute per account
• 503 — generation temporarily unavailable

Privacy & licensing

Tracks are private to the key owner's account. API output carries the same usage rules as studio output; commercial use needs a license. Artist imitation and voice cloning are not supported.
