Using the service

SoundFoundryAI lets you create AI-generated music, sound effects and album artwork, order human-curated custom songs and request AI-narrated audiobooks. You must be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, to buy anything.

Don't use the service to copy real artists' voices, break the law, or upload material you don't have the rights to use.

Credits and payments

Credits are bought in packs and used each time you generate. Payments are handled by Stripe. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred, except through gift codes.

Custom songs and license upgrades are reviewed by a person before they are delivered or issued. Nothing is approved automatically.

File storage (90 days)

Song files, sound effects and album covers are kept in your account for 90 days after they are made. We remind you at day 60 and day 85. After 90 days the files are deleted from the app. Please download them, or use "Save to my cloud" to send them to your own Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or iCloud, before then.

Your records stay in your account: titles, prompts, receipts, licenses and order history.

Paid custom songs, licensed tracks and tracks sold on the marketplace are archived in our secure company storage after 90 days. We keep them so we can support your license and resend the file if you need it. Contact us to request a copy.

Tracks with a live marketplace listing stay in the app while they are listed.

Free generations are deleted permanently after 90 days and cannot be recovered.

Your music and licenses

Personal use is included with every generation. Commercial use needs the matching license. The license you bought is recorded in your account and stays valid after the file is cleared.

Audiobook narration uses AI (synthetic) voices. Finished audiobooks are delivered to you and are not hosted by us.

Marketplace

Listings go live only after staff approval. Sellers receive 70% of each sale, and payouts are processed by hand. Buyers receive the Standard Track License.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site before they apply.
